Meetings

We generally meet the first Wednesday evening of each month, for about 2 hours  In the summer months (Jun-Sep), we'll do a potluck and then our regular program in a shelter at Freedom Park, starting about 6:30. In December we have a Christmas Party with lots of good fellowship. The other months we have a program (no food) which typically includes a time for visiting and making friends, then a speaker, and then we spend some time planning trips for the next month or so.

We welcome visitors at all meetings and outings!

Myers Park Baptist Church, 1931 Selwyn Ave., across from Queens College

If you’re going North on Providence Rd, into town, turn LEFT onto Queens Rd. The map, below, shows this route to Myers Park Baptist Church where we meet most months. Go to the next stoplight and turn left onto Queens Rd (again) and then turn right at the end of that block onto Roswell. The parking lot will be on your left and the meeting room is in the large church building on your right.

Alternate Instructions: If you're headed East on Woodlawn, turn LEFT onto Selwyn. Follow Selwyn through two stoplights, Myers Park Baptist Church is located on the right side of Selwyn just before the third stop light. (Past the church Selwyn becomes Queens Rd.) Park in the lot on Roswell Ave. Click here for a map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=2001+selwyn+ave,+charlotte,+nc

Please contact the Newsletter Editor if you do not receive the newsletter within 10 days after each monthly meeting at bergweb@gmail.com. There have been a lot of email addresses bounced back - possibly because they are not "up to date".
